1. How far are you from Jackson Hole?
The valley is commonly called Jackson Hole, many people confuse the town of Jackson with Jackson Hole. We are not in the town of Jackson, we are located in Teton Village which is in the valley known as Jackson Hole and is about 12 miles from town.
2. What are your rooms like?
We have two styles of rooms. One type has four twin beds and the other type of room has one king sized bed. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower..
3. Do you have air conditioning?
We really do not need it. Just open the window. Temperatures during July and August are in the eighties. More importantly, all rooms do have heat.
4. What is a Hostel?
According to Webster's ,an inexpensive lodging place for travelers. Unlike most European hostels our rooms are private.
5. Do you have a kitchen?
Though we have no kitchen, we do have a microwave, and a bar-b-que and picnic tables outside. We also have coffee, tea, hot chocolate and hot water in the lobby.
6. Do your rooms have TV's and Phones?
Cable television is available in the common area but not in the rooms. We have two TVs with VCRs and a couple payphones in our common area. We also have free Internet access, when it works.
7. What amenities do you have?
Our large common area, has Ping-Pong, a pool table, two TV's with VCRs, two pay phones, a small library, free Internet access (when it feels like working), a microwave, a ski waxing area, ski storage, a children's play area, chess and checker tables, many board games and jigsaw puzzles, a movie projector for viewing our old ski movie collection, soda machines, and a candy bar machine. We also have a coin operated laundry facility, and outside we have a bar-b-que, horseshoes, and a few picnic tables.
8. How do I get to Jackson Hole?
There is an airport in the valley. United, Delta and American airlines all fly into Jackson Hole Airport. The Jackson Hole Express provides bus service from many nearby cities, including Salt Lake City.
9. What is Teton Village?
Teton Village is the base of the Jackson Hole ski area.
10 Where is Teton Village?
Twelve miles to the north west of the town of Jackson. Ten miles to the south of the town of Moose (the main south entrance of Grand Teton National Park) and about 60 miles to the south of Yellowstone National Park.
11. What are the directions to your hotel?
Highway 22 West from Jackson to Highway 390 North to Teton Village. Take a left when you get into Teton Village. Or from the North take 390 South from Moose. Try this map.
12. Why are you so inexpensive?
The rooms are very basic, just the beds and the bathroom. Nothing fancy. We like to keep it simple, just a place to sleep and have a shower. Most of our guests are out and about all day enjoying the area and in the evening they meet other guests while relaxing in the common areas.
13. Why are you so expensive?
Our rooms are basic yet all have private bathrooms and we provide linens and daily maid service. We have found that most guests enjoy meeting others while making use of our comfortable common areas.
14. Do I need linens?
Towels, sheets and blankets are all provided. The maids will even make your bed every day.
15. How do I get to town?
Taxis are available, and the START (our local public transport) bus runs both summer and winter.
16. What about places to eat nearby?

17. How far are you from Yellowstone national park?
About 60 miles to the south of the park.
18. How far are you from Grand Teton National Park?
The south border of the park is about a mile to our north. The Main south gate (Moose) is 10 miles to our north.
19. What are your rates?
Summer 2007 rates are; for one or two people to a room $60 dollars per night. For three or four people in a room we charge $74 dollars per night. Winter 2006 - 2007 rates will be $58 for one or two and $70 for three or four in a room. Local tax is 7 percent.
20. Are the charges per person or per room?
The charges are for the room. It just depends on how many people are in the room.
21. How close are you to the ski lifts?
Very close. just a short walk up the hill, about 100 yards away to the tram. At the end of the day you can ski right back down to our front door.
22. What credit cards do you take?
We can take both Master Card and Visa, we also take travelers checks and of course cash.
23. Are you open year round?
We are closed in the Spring from early April until late May, then again in the Fall we are closed from the beginning of October until the first weekend in December.
24. What are your office hours.
The office is open from 7:30 in the morning until Midnight. The common areas are open during the same hours.
25. Do you take reservations?
Yes we do. We require a $200 deposit within 10 days of booking, the balance is then due at least 30 days prior to arrival.
26. What is your cancellation policy?
Reservation deposits will be refunded in full* if notice of cancellation is received 30 days or more prior to arrival.
There will be no refunds of any kind 29 or less days prior to arrival date.
Guest is responsible for all dates confirmed regardless of guests late arrival or early departure.
*All credit card deposits will be charged a minimum $25 USD handling fee, regardless of date of cancellation
